4.0 - Server Configuration For Accounting Applications

These server-side items are only available for direct editing in self-installed versions of Senomix Timesheets (where the Senomix Server program is hosted on a computer in your own office). To adjust these items for a hosted Senomix service plan, please contact us at

Some system settings can be adjusted by editing configuration files in the Senomix Timesheets Server's \st_conf directory. These are adjustments used to set your preferences for exchanging data with external accounting packages and, once set, their configuration will be automatically used by Senomix when you generate your data export reports.

All of the configuration files discussed in this section can be found (or created) in the server's \st_conf directory. That directory can be found in one of the following locations (depending upon your server computer's operating system and your mode of installation):

- If you have installed the Senomix Server program as a Windows Service / NT Service, the \st_conf directory will be located at:

\WINDOWS\system32\st_conf (if running a 32-bit version of Windows)

- If you are running the server program on a Macintosh OS X computer, the \st_conf folder can be found under the location in which you placed the Senomix Timesheets Server folder when installing your system:

If you edit the text files on a Macintosh OS X computer, you must save them using the Plain Text Encoding format of "Western (DOS Latin 1)", as shown in this example:

Configuration data in these files are often delimited by tab characters. "Delimited" means a single 'tab' is placed in between each id or text item listed to spit the values into distinct columns. No extra 'space' characters or other buffering text can be used -- tab-delimited values must only ever have a single tab character between them.

An example of expected text for the different configuration files can be found in each of the following sub-sections. If you have any questions while creating your office's configuration files, please feel free to contact us at
